Iqbal lost his human rights at a very young age. He was 6 y/o. This matters because everybody deserves to be treated equally. As a slave he was taken away from his family. He had to work for long work hours, got paid very little. Iqbal was also often mentally and physically abused. Another right he lost was a right to education.
