Today in metalwork we had to find out what a hazard was, find out the name of the of the various safety sign types and name and describe the purpose of 3 common safety signs you see in a workshop.
1. Authorised personnel only
This sign is just to clarify that only certain people are allowed in this space, basically like a staff only sign, This kind of sign is a prohibited sign because it has a red circle wit a slash in the middle.

2. Wear eye protection.
This sign is just for your own safety to make to make sure nothing bad gets into your eyes. This kind of sign is a mandatory sign because is it a blue circle with a white background.3. Caution Sign
This sign is a hazard sign. You know that because its a yellow triangle with a black border. Since it is a hazard sign it means you have to be aware of the things you are using or the area you are in could be potentially dangerous

This is my sign I made in google draw. It means you must wear eye protection while operating drills.
